Welcome to SIGITE 2019!
The Special Interest Group for Information Technology Educators (SIGITE) is celebrating its 20th annual conference by hosting its meeting in Tacoma Washington. The theme of this year’s conference is “Transforming IT Education,” and the University of Washington, Tacoma has revitalized the downtown area and its graduates have energized the South Sound of Washington. As 1 of 39 ABET accredited IT programs, the UWT IT program started 8 years ago and is proud to be the host for SIGITE 2019. Our busy program has 3 keynote speakers, a wide range of papers, panels, posters, and workshops, and a program tailored for community college IT faculty. Enjoy the many things downtown Tacoma has to offer and SIGITE 2019.
