SIGITE Membership Discount
Please be aware that there is a significant discount on registration rates for SIGITE and/or ACM members. For example, early member registration is $400 and early non-member registration is $450, a savings of $50. SIGITE membership costs $20, which makes becoming a member worthwhile. Unfortunately, the registration system does not allow you to become a member as you register. If you wish to obtain the cheaper member rates, you must become a member using the ACM system prior to registering for the conference.
Registration Rates
Early online registration is available until September 3, 2019. Late online registration begins September 4, 2019 and runs through October 3, 2019. Registration after October 3, 2019 must be on-site. Please note that the registration deadline for authors is August 20, 2019. Paper, lightning talk, and poster submissions that do not have any author registered for the conference will be pulled from the proceedings. Panels must have all authors registered for the conference in order to be published. Attendance for the conference, the chairs’ workshop on Thursday, the conference reception on Friday, lunch on Friday and Saturday, and any other workshops are included in the price listed. The registration system allows you to purchase extra reception and lunch tickets for people accompanying you to Tacoma.

Visa Requests
For visa support letters, refer all requests to supportletters@acm.org. Please allow up to 10 business days to receive a letter. All requests are handled in the order they are received. The information below should be included with the request:
- Your name as it appears on your passport
- Your current postal mailing address
- The name of the conference you are registering for
- Your registration confirmation number
Conference Excursions
Seattle Excursion
Thursday, 10/3/19. 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Guests will depart Tacoma around 3:00pm, and will head to the iconic Pike Place Market for local shopping and to see the infamous Fish Throwers! From there, guests will go to the Seattle Center where they can visit the Space Needle and Chihuly Garden and Glass. Restaurant options will be available for guests to dine on their leisure at Dale Chihuly’s Collection Cafe or at the many fast casual options available at The Armory, all located within Seattle Center. Guests will arrive back in downtown Tacoma approximately around 10:00pm.
